IMG_0201Alfred Brassfield, nicknamed Al, was born and raised in Tennessee, where as a young man he was exposed to the business world. Al grew up with his Father and Mother owning a trucking business. During his summers of being on the road, he visited every continental state in America except Maine and Vermont. Through the instilled beliefs of hard work, Al continued his education at the University of Tennessee at Martin. This is where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting. With Al’s love and fascination with numbers, he is currently a CPA candidate, and plans to complete his testing in the fall of 2016.

Alfred originally pursued a career in managerial accounting, where he has 12 years’ experience in retail, construction, and manufacturing accounting. Once Alfred felt this area of accounting no longer challenged him, he decided to pursue public accounting, which he now has a great appreciation for and 6 years’ experience.

Outside of the Accounting world, Al is a family man, and loves spending time with his wife and three children. They enjoy spending their time doing outdoor activities such as boating on the Kentucky Lake, hunting, and golf. In his spare time, Al highly enjoys giving back to his community by volunteering his time at the local Carl Perkins Center.

Al is a native resident of Lauderdale County, where he has lived for most of his life.
